About Knisley Law
Where the Story Begins
Scott Knisley founded the Knisley Law Offices in 1953. At the time, he shared office space in the LeVeque Tower with his father, Clarence Hugh Knisley, a former State Treasure and member of the Industrial Commission from 1939 to 1941.
​
Scott focused his practice on Workers’ Compensation, but also represented individuals in Personal Injury and Social Security Disability cases.
​
The practice grew and in 1980, Scott opened his first Dublin Road location where we have been the last 32 years. He was soon joined by his sons, “the 4 Ds” – Doug, Dan, Dean, and Dave. Scott passed away in 2009, and Dave left the firm soon after, but the firm continues to grow with the latest addition of Scott's grandsons, Kurt and Dylan.
New Beginnings
In of 2012, The Columbus Knisley Law Offices moved to a new building closer to downtown and the Industrial Commission to better serve our clients. We re-located our Columbus Office to the current address at 1111 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
